Proverbs 16

24 Harsh words lead to stress which lead to unhealthy side affects. Pleasant words are not just those things that the person wants to hear, but are words that show empathy and genuine caring. Pleasant words give hope and can lighten someone's attitude. Generally, a happy person is more likely to be in good health and have a positive outlook even if they are not.
32 It is both more difficult and more honorable to control your anger than to wage a war. A warrior in battle does not need (and is not encouraged) to show restraint. But an even-tempered man can save many lives if he can prevent a war. A warrior's duty is to kill and destroy, but a wise man's duty is to save and heal.
